Considered “the queen of waxes” for its hardness and high melting point; it provides shine, protection and gentle waterproofing action for skin, hair and leather surfaces.
Where is it found:
Semi-arid regions of Northeastern Brazil, especially in the state of Ceará.
How is it extracted:
The leaves of the Carnaúba palm tree are picked and dried; then, the waxy layer is scraped off and the material is purified until raw wax is obtained.

Yes, EQUI'B products are proudly manufactured in Brazil. Some of our raw materials and packaging are imported by us or by local distributors. We use the best in the world and in Brazil in the formulations. Only the best for your horse.

Can I also use it on other animals?
All of our development and testing was focused on equines. The products are approved by MAPA and are therefore safe for use on other animals. Pay attention to the type of coat and skin, as we have different levels of oil in the skin and coat structures. Stay tuned: we indicate in the product descriptions when they are interesting for use on dogs, for example.

Can I use it on humans?
Our products are licensed for use on animals, and are all certified by MAPA. Although we use high-quality ingredients and dermocosmetic power, we are not licensed by ANVISA for human use. They're separate licenses, okay? In addition, we warn that the human PH is very different from the PH of horses.
Can I use my human products on horses?
Avoid using products that have not been specially designed for horses. The structure of the horse's skin and coat is truly unique. Human products are too acidic for horse skin and hair, resulting in a loss of natural protection, with consequent sensitization, such as dandruff and allergies. Make no mistake: even if your horse has no immediate (or visible) reactions to you, the damage will be piling up there.
